Software Developer

CostFlex Systems, a healthcare software firm located in Mobile, AL, is seeking a Full-Time Software Developer to design, create, and maintain internal software programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and programming, paired with an analytical mindset and a strong work ethic.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain internal applications that support healthcare cost analytics
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Troubleshoot and resolve system bugs, data issues, and performance challenges
• Work across multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate with internal teams to support customer needs and improve system functionality
• Respond to support requests and help ensure system reliability
• Must be present in the office 100% to physically and logistically work from our office in Mobile, AL every weekday.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Required Skills:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming or related field
• 2 years’ Software Development experience
• 2 years’ .Net, SQL Server experience
• MS Access/VBA, VB6, and VB.Net a plus
• Solid understanding of database design, querying, and performance optimization
• Ability to debug issues and think critically about system behavior
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Healthcare experience a plus
