We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Painter with over 10 years of expertise to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Execute precise painting tasks using hand tools, power tools, airless paint sprayers, and other equipment to achieve smooth, even finishes on walls, ceilings, trim, stucco, masonry, and industrial surfaces.
- Read blueprints and schematics accurately to determine project scope and specifications for both residential and commercial projects.
- Perform construction estimating by assessing materials needed and time requirements to support project planning.
- Install fixtures, trim carpentry elements, and undertake renovation or restoration work to enhance the aesthetic appeal of spaces.
- Apply specialty coatings such as industrial paint or stucco in accordance with safety guidelines and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure safety protocols are followed while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
- Utilize hand tools like brushes, rollers, scrapers, and trowels efficiently while managing power tools for large-scale or detailed work.
- Demonstrate proficiency in schematics reading for complex projects involving welding or masonry components.
- Assist with basic carpentry tasks such as framing or remodeling as needed to support comprehensive project completion.
Skills
- Extensive experience in residential painting, commercial painting, construction painting, industrial coating applications, and renovation projects.
- Strong knowledge of color theory to advise clients on color selection and achieve desired aesthetic effects.
- Skilled in construction estimating with the ability to evaluate project scope accurately.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and schematics interpretation for precise execution of complex tasks.
- Hands-on experience with plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, masonry work, concrete finishing, framing, drywall installation/remodeling.
- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and maintenance procedures across diverse environments.
- Ability to operate a wide range of hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently including airless sprayers and welding equipment when necessary.
- Knowledge of schematics related to fixture installation or industrial systems; basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
