Role Description
Must hold USACE-QC! This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Control Manager located in Columbia, MD. The Quality Control Manager will oversee the implementation and adherence to quality standards across construction projects. Responsibilities include managing quality assurance processes, conducting inspections, monitoring compliance with project specifications, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. The manager will work closely with project teams to identify and resolve quality issues while preparing reports to document project progress and standards compliance.
Qualifications
- Experience in quality assurance, quality control, and understanding of construction codes and standards
- Familiarity with project management and documentation practices in construction
- Strong organizational and analytical skills for conducting detailed inspections and audits
- Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols related to construction
- Proficiency in problem-solving and communication to address quality concerns effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver on tight deadlines
- Experience in commercial construction and hands-on involvement in construction projects is a plus
