Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team. Minimum 24 hours per week. Must be available Monday thru Saturday.
As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe and accurate preparation and dispensing of medications. This position is based in a warehouse retail setting
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure appropriate medication therapy for patients
- Maintain inventory levels of medications and supplies
- Provide excellent customer service to patients by addressing their medication-related inquiries and concerns
- Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and policies governing pharmacy practice - Maintain patient confidentiality at all times- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication names
- Experience working in retail setting is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation and dispensing
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing tasks
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends
