Job Duties
- Works with management to create and update budgets, as well as track actual expenditures for multiple areas.
- Observes procedures and reviews audit checklists to ensure compliance with safety.
- Provides feedback to warehouse management on: department operations, appearance of department, quality of product, performance of department, and meat plant P&L.
- Reviews financial reports, verifies results, and investigates discrepancies. Prepares weekly reports for various departments.
- Reviews capitalization expenditures to order equipment based on production.
- Identifies and recommends opportunities to drive business to the Warehouse Manager.
- Assists location and/or corporate management with budgets and updates.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the position.
- Ensures proper cleanup and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery.
- Assists with department duties as necessary.
- Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.
