Position Summary
The Facilities Coordinator position is responsible for general repair and maintenance of the corporate campus. This work will include plumbing, lighting, HVAC, carpet, painting, landscaping, and all furniture changes. The selected individual will be the primary contact for their assigned contractor and projects. The position requires helping in other departments as business needs dictate.
Job Duties/Essential Functions
- Maintains physical plan of corporate office buildings and grounds outside corporate; provides light landscaping maintenance.
- Repairs and replaces mechanical systems, carpeting, and painting as assigned.
- Inspects buildings and grounds for maintenance compliance.
- Handles all moves, additional furniture, and changes for corporate cubicle furniture.
- Drives 24 ft. truck with lift gate between corporate buildings as necessary.
- Coordinates with suppliers for extensive repairs, contracts, and oversight.
- Oversees projects as assigned.
- Acts as first responder for hazardous materials spills, power outage, sewage back up, and other emergencies, including First Aid.
- Ensures proper cleanup and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Regular and reliable workplace attendance at your assigned location.
Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery.
- Power tools including air compressor, drill press, grinder, jigsaw, router, table saw, band saw, power hand tools, HVAC, pressure washer, circuit breakers, compactor, ladders, scissor lift, snow thrower, snow shovel, ice melt, flatbed, hand truck, 24 ft. truck with lift gate.

Experience, Skills, Education & Licenses/Certifications
Required:
- Focused practice in one or more areas of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or HVAC.
- General indoor and outdoor repair and maintenance experience.
- Experience in project management from concept to completion through strong organization and effective communication at all levels within the organization.
- Proficient in Google Applications.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Strong work ethic and demonstrates attention to detail.
- Proven record of taking initiative, being self-motivated, and being a team player.
- Functions independently with little or no supervision.
- Ability to multitask and produce results under strict deadlines and pressure.
- Ability to learn new procedures and equipment and incorporate into personal skill sets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Recommended:
- Knowledge of Google suite.
- Ability to stay flexible and respond to changing priorities.
- Listens attentively, takes appropriate action, and prioritizes tasks effectively.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
