Initial Research – Data Analyst, Commercial Real Estate

As an Initial Researcher with CoStar, you’ll be at the heart of the commercial real estate industry, capturing market-critical information that enables our clients to make informed high impact business decisions. Our database is the largest centralized, real-time database of commercial real estate information available today. CoStar Initial Researchers compile and prepare data from across the country to proactively track ownership, availability, sale, and lease of over half a million commercial properties.

Responsibilities

• Verify source data for accuracy and correct where necessary
• Attach required documents (deeds, loan, affidavits, etc.)
• Capture and enter transactions from county, state, and vendor records into database
• Respond to requests for information from Market Teams and provide support to overall research effort
• Review and cleanse bulk-loaded data designated as QA (exceptions) for purge or process
• Perform QA on non-researched loaded data (public record)
  
  

Successful Research Technician Candidates Will

• Have proven data entry skills
• Have experience researching and processing large amounts of detailed information
• Manage multiple responsibilities, change priorities and excel in a fast-paced environment
• Be goal-oriented, competitive and motivated by success
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College
• Permanent US work authorization
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
• Expertise in analyzing and interpreting KPIs and performance metrics.
