Description



Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and execute dishes according to recipes and standards set by the Executive Chef.
  • Assist in the preparation of mise en place, including chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and preparing sauces.
  • Cook and plate dishes with attention to detail, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to sanitation and safety guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, rotating stock, and maintaining inventory levels.
  • Flexibility to work various stations in the kitchen, including grill, sauté, pasta, and garde manger.
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a line cook or culinary assistant in a restaurant setting is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
  • Passion for Italian cuisine and eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure during busy service periods.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to take direction from the culinary leadership team and execute tasks with precision.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
