$60 to $70 per hour. No weekends. Sixty-minute recall appointments.
Costa Dentistry is a modern, high-tech private practice founded by Dr. Shane Costa, with offices in Great Falls and Ashburn. We are privately owned, with no DSO or private equity affiliation, and we are seeking a full-time Virginia Registered Dental Hygienist to join a growing schedule at our Great Falls location.
The role
- Sixty minutes for recall appointments and 60 to 90 minutes for new patients, so you have time to deliver thorough care.
- A four-day work week with full-time hours.
- Routine prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing, with the appointment time to complete each properly.
- Our Great Falls practice serves a long-term, detail-oriented patient base, many of them multi-generational families who return year after year.
- Patient education and home-care guidance as a core part of the visit, not an afterthought.
- Transition to Archy, a modern cloud-based practice management system, beginning this fall.

New graduates and experienced hygienists
We welcome both. New graduates receive structured training and mentorship from an experienced clinical team. Experienced hygienists will find a practice that respects clinical judgment and invests in quality instruments and technology.
Qualifications
- Active Virginia Registered Dental Hygienist license, or a foreign-trained dentist who has passed the Virginia dental hygiene licensing examination
- Current CPR certification
- Certification to administer local anesthesia
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
- Able to commute to Great Falls, VA 22066
