National Sales Manager

An ADP client is currently recruiting for an experienced individual to be our next National Sales Manager to join our team in our Medley, FL 33178 location.

Who We Are:

Costa Del Sol – was founded in 2021 as an importer 9f exotic and tropical products. Our foundation is based on providing culturally rick products which display our diverse ethnic familiarity .  

In 2003, we merged with CBI international expanding its product portfolio with recognized worldwide brands including Diana. Diana is recognized throughout Central American for its full line of quality snacks to which we became the exclusive importer for products developed for the US market.

About the Role:

Accompany the process of strategic transformation and the growth in sales of the organization, from the commercial perspective.

Use all your knowledge and skills to maximize market growth opportunities at various levels and channels of consumption.

Seek that commercial operations are continuously optimized so that our actions achieve the satisfaction of our clients and final consumers.

Manage the current operations of the company and at the same time propose the development of new commercial avenues not fully developed at present (multicultural market in its different channels), proposing adjustments to the structure of the current commercial teams as required by the plans of proposed growths.

Design sales and expense plans and budgets through statistical data and experience, which allow you to determine and develop the most effective strategies to achieve sales growth objectives.

Plan, organize and coordinate sales operations (Sell in / Sell Out), as well as commercial teams, to achieve sustained growth that allows achieving sales goals and meeting budgets efficiently and profitably, in the countries /channels/customer under its influence (core and multicultural market).

Ensure compliance with all processes, policies and procedures under his responsibility based on the guidelines established by the company.

Maintain an elevated level of leadership in the sales team, in such a way that it allows you to develop, guide, and organize the sales team.

What You Will Do:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following.

  • Design strategies and budgets for the efficient management of the commercial process, in the attention of the core and multicultural market.
  • Ensure excellence in the execution of each of the strategies and planned actions.
  • Prepare annual operating plans, together with the managers of the different zones/countries or other key executives, defining objectives and presenting progress reports with management indicators.
  • Efficiently manage the company's assigned resources, as well as the improvement and development projects that are required.
  • Approve and manage compliance with processes, procedures, policies, and others related to the commercial area.
  • Present periodic reports on the management of the process under his responsibility, before the CEO and JD
  • Develop and manage the sales management model for sell in and sell out (SOM) in the Core market. Define and propose the most appropriate sales management model for the multicultural market in its different channels.
  • Evaluate, coordinate, and motivate the performance of the personnel in charge according to the established objectives.
  • Manage results based on budgets and objectives.
  • Develop and guarantee a culture of customer service aligned with the culture objectives defined by the organization.
  • Request/gather market information from the competition for their respective analysis.
  • Be attentive to market dynamics, informing timely for decision making, requesting, and supporting research when necessary.
  • Analyze, design, and propose the strategy and plans for the incursion into new channels, markets, or territories.
  • Monitor compliance with the sales budget based on actual market demand/activity and respond appropriately to achieve compliance.
  • Execute special sales campaigns for products that require a specific boost.
  • Represent the company before various activities or commercial events of interest for the commercial objectives.
  • Propose and coordinate with marketing and trade marketing activities and promotions that ensure the objectives proposed in the different areas of the market.
  • Propose and coordinate with logistics and operations strategies and activities that seek to achieve the objectives and commercial projects in the different areas of the market.
  • Follow up on growth plans for assigned clients from the USA/Canada countries.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

Our Perfect Candidate

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related major.
  • At least 8 to 10 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Strong previous work experience in Sales in the USA in the American multicultural market as a national or regional business manager.
  • Experience in marketing and distribution of food products and/or mass consumption at various levels and channels.
  • Experience in leading work teams – Able to manage a group of up to 100 associates.
  • Desirable domain / commercial knowledge of the ethnic-Latin-Central American market.
  • Knowledge of marketing in the American multicultural market and Domain/knowledge of the Latino-ethnic market.
  • Management of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, and Power Point).
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.

Required Abilities and Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Trading Strategies.
  • Knowledge of the categories represented in the company.
  • Knowledge about managing channels, customers, and target consumers.
  • Knowledge and/or management of sales strategies (Sell in and Sell out).
  • Knowledge of sales management models.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, strategic and operational plans.
  • Knowledge of marketing in the multicultural market of the USA.
  • Knowledge of distribution logistics.
