What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cycle Counter position at Cosmos MacCalla Corp?
We are seeking someone who can be responsible for accurate inventory counts and levels. Reporting and providing information to the Warehouse Manager. May also be reporting directly to the Materials Manager.
Functions / Tasks:
- Provide finished goods and WIP material cycle counts daily.
- Count the material on floor to ensure accurate inventory based on critical parts report.
- Prepare and count according to cycle count corporate data base (components, WIP and FG)
- Deliver the information of cyclic counts to material department to be captured in the matrix cycle counts database.
- Identify critical materials by empty footprints.
- Report inventory difference to Material Planners.
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in monthly and quarterly physical inventory.
- Communicate with co-workers, management, customers, vendors and others in a courteous and professional manner.
- Perform job in a safe manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience / Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Health, Safety, & Physical Demands
- Safety vest required to be worn at all times when on the plant floor.
- Physical demands require standing, working in a manufacturing plant environment, walking manufacturing plant floor multiple times daily, bending, reaching, stooping, wearing required PPE, talking, working long hours and overtime including weekends and holidays as required
