The Opportunity
Los Angeles just lived through one of the largest natural disasters in U.S. history. Thousands of families lost their homes. They're now navigating insurance claims, permitting, and a construction industry that is too slow, too expensive, and too unpredictable to meet the moment.
Cosmic Buildings exist to change that. We're a Public Benefit Corporation — legally accountable to our mission of solving the housing crisis — and we're starting with the Palisades rebuild. Our platform combines AI-driven design, robotics, and advanced manufacturing to deliver custom homes faster and with more precision than traditional builders can.
We're looking for a Sales Director to own Los Angeles — someone who can sell at the highest level and who wants their work to matter.
What You'll Do
You won't just sell homes — you'll help redefine how they're built.
- Own the entire homeowner journey from first conversation to signed contract
- Serve as a trusted advisor to homeowners navigating loss, uncertainty, budgets, timelines, and major rebuild decisions
- Build deep trust with families through a consultative, patient, and highly empathetic sales process
- Close $1M–$3M custom home projects
- Build deep relationships across Palisades, Malibu, Altadena, and the Westside
- Represent Cosmic in the community — events, meetings, and local partnerships
- Help shape our sales strategy, messaging, and growth engine
Who You Are
You're not a transactional salesperson. You're a trusted advisor who can combine commercial discipline with emotional intelligence.
- 5 years in consultative sales
- Background in real estate, development, construction, architecture, or tech sales
- Experience closing high-value deals ($500K–$3M )
- Comfortable with long sales cycles and emotional, high-stakes decisions
- High empathy and emotional intelligence — you understand what families are going through and can meet them there
- Thrive in ambiguity and want to build something meaningful
- Driven, entrepreneurial, and highly accountable
