What are the responsibilities and job description for the CAD Draftsperson position at Cosmec, Inc.?
Cosmec, Inc is an industry leader in the design and manufacture of structural bearings for the bridge and building industries. We currently have a position open in our Drafting Department for an experienced AutoCAD drafter. In this role, you will work closely with engineering staff and drafting supervisor to produce precise drawings that will contribute to the successful execution of engineering projects and customer needs.
Responsabilities:
Prepare detailed CAD approval drawings based on project specifications and contract plans.
Create material lists and sketches for purchasing department
Produce component drawings/sketches for company machine shop.
Correspond with customer representatives, as required, to obtain required information to complete approval drawings. This may include email, writing of RFI's (Request for information), phone calls, etc.
When properly trained and comfortable with company products and processes, will then assist with reviewing and checking of other detailers.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3-5 years drafting experience
- proficient in AutoCAD
- proficient in microsoft excel
- excellent math skills
- attention to detail

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
