Description:
Cosentino's Price Choppers is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Space Allocation or Merchandising Specialist to optimize product placement and maximize sales within our stores. The position will leverage their organizational skills and time management abilities to ensure efficient execution of placing new products on our stores' shelves and contributing to a positive customer experience. This position will require individuals to travel to any of our 32 locations in both Kansas and Missouri.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and help maintain placement for various product categories on our store's shelves, ensuring alignment with company standards and merchandising strategies.
- Ensure timely completion of merchandising projects.
- Ensure proper pricing signage has been applied to all shelf products.
- Maintain a safe and clear work area while in stores.
- Ability to travel to any location operated by Cosentino's. Locations in both Kansas and Missouri.
Minimum Qualifications:
- General knowledge of retail operations.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with customer service.
- Reliable transportation to any of our 32 locations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a retail environment, specifically in space allocation or merchandising roles.
