Job Summary
An Overnight Stocker at Cosentino's Food Stores assists customers by properly stocking shelves and displays in a friendly and courteous manner.
This non-exempt position reports to the Night Manager and requires ongoing training and development as listed on the Cosentino's Learning Plan.
Essential Responsibilities
- Know and implement Cosentino's Customer Service Standards.
- Unload and sort incoming shipments, stock them neatly, and maintain back room and cooler/freezer areas.
- Stock grocery shelves accurately, monitor products for damage, and follow inventory procedures.
- Able to operate equipment safely, meet productivity standards, and maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Monitor expiration dates, rotate ad items, and comply with health regulations and safety procedures.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and interpersonal skills for positive customer and peer interactions.
Physical Abilities
- Reaching overhead, twisting, and lifting objects up to 10 lbs.
- Pushing and pulling loaded carts and pallet jacks up to 75 lbs.
- Standing and walking for long periods on hard surfaces.
- Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Bending and squatting to floor level.
Requirements
- Completion of ongoing training and development.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
