MAIN JOB OBJECTIVE
The Junior Retail Associate ensures that they deliver the beauty best luxury experience through helping customers find products in a retail store, answering questions and helping customers decide which products to buy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcoming and engaging with customers as they enter the store
- Assessing customers’ needs and suggesting solutions to their problems
- Gift wrapping
- Answering phone call
- Giving customers advice about sales and promotions
- Using upselling techniques to increase store sales
- Recommending the best products to customers
- Cleaning and restocking the store throughout the day, before opening and after closing
- Reports to the Store Manager or Assistant Manager, ensuring that daily tasks align with store goals and standards
Work Environment
This job operates in a retail environment with merchandise displays and items available for purchase in inventory.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a part time retail store position, and hours of work and days may vary depending upon business needs. This position regularly may require long hours and frequent weekend work not excluding holidays.
Travel
This position may require some travel based on business needs.

PRINCIPAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED
Education:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
Work Experience:
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and managing sales transactions accurately.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills to communicate with confidence to both internal and external customers
