Responsibilities
- Perform routine laboratory tests and procedures on patient samples
- Accurately analyze test results and maintain detailed records of findings
- Prepare specimens for examination by pathologists and other medical professionals
- Conduct quality control measures to ensure reliability of test results
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment as needed
- Monitor inventory of laboratory supplies and reorder as necessary
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to communicate results and provide support in patient care
- Two years of college with courses in biology, chemistry, and mathematics. An associate of Arts degree in Medical Laboratory Technology.
- Any Bachelors that are not MLS/CLS, we will need a transcript. Certification/License preferred but not required.
- Registration by the Registry Boards of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists desired.
- One year experience as Medical Technician is desired.
