- Perform venipuncture and capillary collection methods to obtain blood specimens from patients.
- Process and label specimens accurately, following laboratory protocols.

- Communicate with patients to explain procedures and alleviate concerns.
- Document and report any complications or adverse reactions during blood collection.
- Certification as a Phlebotomist (e.g., from an accredited program or organization).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interactions.
