Coryell Health's Cath Lab is dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare services and ensuring optimal patient outcomes. We focus on the delivery of specialized, invasive, diagnostic, and interventional procedures within our electrophysiology lab, primarily serving congenital patient populations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and interventional catheterization and electrophysiological procedures.
- Operate as a circulating nurse, providing comprehensive patient support.
- Perform procedural sedation monitoring and continuously record patient condition using the Xper system.
- Assist in maintaining equipment and managing supply inventory for the Cath Lab.
- Delegate responsibilities to licensed and unlicensed staff while ensuring compliance with BNE regulations.
- Minimum of two years of experience in Cath Lab, ICU, or ER settings required.
- Current RN license or compact license is mandatory.
- BLS certification required within three months of hire; commitment to certification process is a must.
- ACLS certification is also required within three months.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
