Summary Of Responsibilities
The primary function of the Assistant Community Supervision Officer is to supervise indirect cases that are transferred out of Coryell County. Provides assistance to Community Supervision Officers (CSO's) in keeping track of various matters concerning probationers. Additionally, the Assistant Community Supervision Officer will assist with general clerical work such as preparing court orders, MTR's and scheduling PSI's.

Essential Responsibilities And Functions
- Case management to include collaborative assessment, evaluation and monitoring of adult individuals.
- Supervises individuals according to court ordered conditions.
- Corresponds with other counties and states concerning probationers.
- Interacts with multiple law enforcement agencies.
- Requests offense reports.
- Requests progress reports from other counties or states for review ton monitor compliance.
- Documents in computer all phone conversations, emails, and paperwork received and sent.
- Files all documents with appropriate clerk as needed.
- Ensures probationers mail monthly report form and payments.
- Ensures probationers keep appointment with their probation officers.
- Ensures probationers have completed all court ordered obligations timely and completely, or takes appropriate action.
- Runs and updates CCH on all case files.
- Provides assistance to other support staff as needed.
- Contributes to and helps create a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a cooperative and amicable manner with supervisors, coworkers, subordinates and members of the public.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of equipment and techniques of providing general office/clerical support.
- Knowledge of data entry and retrieval using automated information systems.
- Time management skills and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work independently under general direction.
- Ability to work effectively and courteously with all levels of employees, elected officials and the general public.
- Ability to multi-task and handle a wide variety of conditions.
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Five (5) years of general office and clerical experience.
