Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders, answering questions, and providing personalized recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by handling food properly and adhering to sanitation protocols
- Manage cash handling duties including cashiering, basic math calculations, and balancing registers at shift end
- Assist in food preparation and food handling tasks to ensure fresh, quality offerings are available at all times
- Support the team in serving food items, restocking supplies, and maintaining a welcoming café environment
Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista or in the food service industry with strong coffee-making skills
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for smooth transactions
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling, serving techniques, and café operations
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and sales processing
