Location: Corwin Automotive Group

Hours:

· Monday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM

· Friday: 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM

The Title Clerk is responsible for preparing tax and title documents in accordance with state requirements for our Fargo locations. The Title Clerk works closely with the titling team, accounting team, sales managers, and finance managers within the dealership. This position requires a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual who can effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tax and title documents in a time sensitive manner to achieve or exceed title reporting standards and benchmarks
• Submit legal transfer of documents for Department of Motor Vehicles on a timely basis
• Apply for duplicate titles and dealer for resale titles as needed. Use necessary measures to expedite the process and ensure all documents are delivered to the dealership
• Address issues immediately to remain in compliance with state and lien holder requirements
• Ensure all titling paperwork is filed in accordance with appropriate state deadlines
• Excellent customer service is required to assist each customer with the best possible service
• Maintain customer, vendor, and employee confidence, and protect operations by exercising discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information
• Work closely with the title department, accounting office, and finance and sales departments
• Prioritize workload to ensure all duties are completed within deadlines
• Perform all other job duties as requested by management
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and expectations
