What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) position at Corvilla, Inc.?
PURPOSE
The LPN works under the RN consultant to coordinate all medical aspects of the clients served; monitoring and assuring compliance with ICF/IID and licensure standards in all settings. Participates in interdisciplinary process and provides staff training.
SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
· 24 Hour crisis intervention on call and additional on call responsibilities per Corvilla policy.
· Participate in Quarterlies and Annual Client Reviews
· See each client every week
· Physical Assessment quarterly on each client
· Instruct Medication Administration Inservice (Core A & B)
· Medical Records review monthly with Pharmacy
· Medical Quarterlies – Document and get Dr. and Pharmacist to sign
· Pharmacy review with Pharmacy Consultant
· Administer Staff TB Vaccinations
· Administer Client TB Vaccinations
· Participate in House meetings
· Attend Dr. appointments with clients as needed
· Monthly check supply of meds from Pharmacy into home
· Get Dr. orders as needed for IDT recommendation
· Follow up on all accident/incident reports
· Keep Monthly nursing notes, update weekly
· Medical Plan of Corrections for State
REPORTS TO: Director of Residential Services
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
LPN License and 2 years practical experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and previous supervisory experience.

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
