The Administrative Assistant performs diverse administrative responsibilities for various levels of staff within the company. This position coordinates various projects and prepares reports and information which may be of a highly confidential and critical nature, supporting the goals of local management, and of CorVel. This is an onsite role with WFH potential with work equity.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:Answers phone calls Handles inquiries appropriatelyMay open, read, prioritize, route and distribute incoming mail or other materialsMay coordinate, schedule, and maintain event calendars, including travel arrangements, customer appointments, meetings, conference calls, and room reservationsOrganizes and maintains document storageMay create and prepare presentations, memos, reports, correspondence and miscellaneous projectsMay assist in basic accounting functionsAdditional duties as assignedKNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work on several concurrent tasks and prioritize workload with minimal directionAbility to identify, analyze and solve problemsIntermediate ability to utilize Microsoft applicationsStrong interpersonal, time management and organizational skillsAbility to work both independently and within a team environmentEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred1 – 2 years’ experience in administrative support rolesPAY RANGE:CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
