What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Tax Intern position at CorVel Corporation?
The CorVel Tax Team is looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Corporate Tax Intern to join our tax team for the upcoming summer. This internship is designed for students who want an opportunity to build a strong foundation in corporate tax while contributing to real‑world projects.
This is a remote temporary position with preference for location in Seattle, WA or Portland, OR area. This paid Internship runs for a 8-9 week period: ideally between June 15th – August 21st, 2026 but is flexible based off school start/ end dates.
The Corporate Tax Intern should expect to perform the following tasks during the internship:
To be eligible for the internship, you must currently be enrolled in either an undergraduate or graduate degree program or have recently obtained your degree (within the last 12 months) in Accounting or related field.

Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.
For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.
Pay Range: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour

- Perform tax research: Analyze regulations, rulings, and tax law changes to help the team interpret impacts on the business

- Help respond to internal requests for tax-related data
- Participate in special projects: Contribute to process improvements, technology initiatives, and cross‑functional projects
- Additional duties as assigned
