Requirements
Job Responsibilities (List is not inclusive)
- Assist with job site safety inspections and document observations under senior staff guidance
- Assist with incident and near-miss investigations and corrective action documentation
- Deliver basic safety training programs and toolbox talks to field crews as directed
- Distribute and track PPE and safety supplies across assigned job sites
- Track open corrective actions and follow up on closure status
- Assist with development and distribution of safety communications and alerts
- Participate in GC safety meetings and pre-task planning as directed
- Learn and develop proficiency in OSHA regulations and company safety standards
- Support the EH&S Leadership with special safety projects and program activities
- 0-2 years of construction safety or field experience
- Developing knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 construction safety requirements
- OSHA 30-hour certification required or must obtain within 30 days
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Effective communication with field crews and management
- Reliable, safety-first mindset and professional conduct
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record required
- Regularly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, reach with arms, and talk or hear.
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Occasionally required to lift up to 25 pounds.
