1st Shift Mat'l Handler/Production
BACKGROUND REQUIRED:
- Competent reading and writing skills adequate for following written instructions and completing required documentation.
- Forklift experience in a manufacturing environment putting safety first
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers
- High School Diploma/ GED and automotive experience preferred
SPECIAL SKILLS:
- Reading and writing skills adequate for following written instructions and completing required documentation.
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to get HILO License
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Organized storage of finished goods prior to shipment.
- Organization of empty containers in storage and outside of the facility
- Responsible to take care of components, cardboard, fiber and put in the correct location on the plant floor
- Help with monthly and yearly inventory
- Ability to operator a handheld scanner for accurate inventory tracking
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including Safety, Quality, and EMS
- Follow standardized work instructions
- Maintain the cleanliness of the work area and contribute to the overall orderliness of the plant
- Properly stage loads and store product in proper locations
- Responsible to empty dumpster throughout the plant.
- Ability to train others as needed
- Other duties as assigned.
Monday-Friday 7am-3pm
40 hours per week with occasional overtime.
Salary : $45,000 - $55,000
