Title: Assistant Property Manager
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Assistant Manager to join our team and support the management of our affordable housing properties. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the Property Manager to ensure the efficient operation of our properties, exceptional tenant satisfaction, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the day-to-day management of affordable housing properties, including leasing, resident relations, maintenance coordination, and administrative tasks.
2. Collaborate with the Property Manager to ensure all leasing activities are conducted in accordance with fair housing laws and company policies.
3. Respond promptly and professionally to resident inquiries, concerns, and requests, striving to provide excellent customer service at all times.
4. Coordinate maintenance requests and work orders, ensuring timely completion and quality of repairs and improvements.
5. Conduct property tours for prospective residents, effectively communicating the benefits and features of our affordable housing properties.
6. Assist in the preparation and maintenance of property budgets, financial reports, and records.
7. Support compliance efforts related to affordable housing programs, including but not limited to HUD, LIHTC, and other regulatory requirements.
8. Assist with the preparation and submission of required reports, certifications, and documentation to regulatory agencies and funding sources.
9. Participate in regular property inspections and audits to ensure adherence to safety, cleanliness, and quality standards.
10. Collaborate with community partners, service providers, and local agencies to enhance resident services and support community engagement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of affordable housing programs, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
