Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and grow Strategic Account Plans for a portfolio of customers by understanding their needs and providing technical solutions.
- Sell Cortrol’s full range of products and services to existing and new customers through relationship building, product recommendations, and technical support.
- Drive demand creation within existing accounts and prospect for new business using approved sales and marketing tools.
- Utilize CRM tools to manage your opportunity pipeline, track activities, and report progress.
- Prepare quotes and proposals for customer projects.
- Collaborate closely with Inside Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Maintain accurate customer records and submit reports and expenses per company policy.
- Represent Cortrol professionally at customer visits, lunches, trade shows, and industry events.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience (Bachelor’s preferred).
- 3–5 years of sales or customer service experience, ideally in an industrial distribution or technical sales environment.
- Experience with fiberglass or corrosion-resistant piping systems strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with a data-driven approach to growth.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Willingness to entertain customers through lunches, dinners, and site visits.
