What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Inspector - Third Shift position at CORTINA?
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Performs process, product, and incoming audits where required by following control plans.
- Analyzes quality data and dimensional reports forms decisions based on results.
- Makes decisions related to product quality if defects occur.
- Audits and approves rework activates and ensures documents are updated and maintained
- Assists with corrective action request investigations.
- Participates in maintaining and improving the Quality Management-system.
- Operates test equipment and calibration as required or requested
- Interacts with Supervisor and technical personnel to ensure quality issues are addressed in a timely manner
- Completes documents as required by following quality plan.
- Assist in new projects or any other activity as requested
POSITION REQUIRMENTS:
- Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Dependable
- High level of attendance
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Works in a team environment including other departments
- Works with limited supervision
- Must be able to work weekends when required and overtime during the week as required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/ PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Schedule: Third Shift – Monday-Friday – 11:30PM-8:00AM
- Climbing, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting
- Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally; up to 30 pounds of force frequently; and up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Frequent presence in non-climate-controlled, high-noise production & warehouse areas where appropriate PPE must be worn
- Compensation: $19.50 - $20.50 p/h (this includes 3rd shift differential)
