Job Description:
This team member will serve as a Quality Engineer (QE) providing critical support to the PAC-3 Missile Segment Enhancement (MSE) weapon system in the Lower Tier Interceptors (LTI) Product Office. This team member will provide quality engineering technical support utilizing their skills in the development, manufacturing, and/or sustainment of weapons systems.
Position duties include leading and/or participating in quality management systems and assessments, technical reviews, supply chain management, production line validation, technical data package development, environmental stress screening, statement of work input, requirements development, Acceptance Test Plan development, First Article Testing, factory acceptance testing, inspection and test equipment validation, nonconforming materiel management, continuous improvement techniques, root cause and failure analyses, corrective actions, defect tracking and trend analysis, critical characteristics management, statistical process control, and QE Materiel Release statements.
Job Requirements:
- BA/BS and 15 Years of relevant experience OR MA/MS and 14 years of relevant experience OR high school graduate with 17 Years of relevant experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret level clearance
- Work on-site at Redstone Arsenal
- Travel required
