Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor at our Utica, IL production facility. This position is a key member of the site leadership team responsible for all maintenance activities and leading an experienced team of maintenance mechanics and electricians.
The Maintenance Supervisor collaborates across various departments and utilizes creative problem-solving skills to foster innovation and further develop team members.
This role will be on-site at the Corteva location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and ensure proper execution of all maintenance related activity at the site, including regular and preventative maintenance, capital projects, and reliability improvements.
- Ensure completion and updating of appropriate records, documents, and/or reports.
- Implement and monitor maintenance KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
- Coordinate and work with other key personnel to establish capital plans and related details to promote the plans.
- Lead assigned team to ensure resources and labor needs are met year-round.
- Coach and develop direct reports to top performance and maintain a cohesive positive work environment.
- Plan and maintain facility maintenance budget.
Requirements:
- You have your High School Diploma/GED.
- You have industrial maintenance experience and/or experience in leading large-scale capital projects.
- You have 1 year of leadership experience (i.e. program/process lead, supervisory experience, etc.).
- You have strong interpersonal skills, including good written and verbal communication skills.
- You have strong problem-solving skills and are solutions oriented.
- You have good organization, prioritization, and time-management ability in order to drive projects to on-time completion.
- You uphold health and safety to the highest standard.
- You consistently help others and demonstrate adherence to safety protocols, policies, and procedures to ensure you and your colleagues go home safely every day.
- You are experienced in Microsoft applications, such as Word and Excel.
- You have a valid US driver's license.
- You are willing and able to work a primarily daytime schedule with extended hours and weekends to support operations as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Maintenance, or a related field.
- Experience with a CMMS system such as SAP.
- Experience with PowerBI.
- LEAN/SMED, Six Sigma experience.
- Familiarity with PLC Programming.
- Electrical and mechanical knowledge.
