Job Summary
As a Press Brake Operator, you will play a pivotal role in our manufacturing team, transforming raw materials into high-quality components. You will operate and maintain press brake machines, ensuring precision and efficiency in bending and shaping metal sheets. Your expertise will contribute to the seamless flow of production while adhering to safety standards and quality specifications.
What you’ll do
- Operate press brake machines to bend and shape metal sheets according to specifications.
- Requires the ability to use equipment common to the trade among which is NC Brake and hand tools common to the trade.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the correct dimensions and angles for fabrication.
- Perform quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure adherence to tolerances.
- Collaborate with team members to set up tooling and fixtures for various production runs.
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment, troubleshooting any issues that arise during operation.
- Assist in the assembly of components as needed, ensuring all parts fit together seamlessly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Basic qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in operating press brake machines
- Ability to read blueprints and perform basic math calculations related to measurements and angles.
Preferred qualifications
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
- Familiarity with hand tools and tooling setups for various machining processes.
