Position Summary
The Director of Product and Marketing provides senior leadership for Cortec’s Product Management and Marketing functions. Position Responsibilities
- Lead the Product Management and Marketing teams, setting clear priorities, developing talent, and creating accountability for performance and results.
- Own product portfolio strategy and lifecycle management, including product roadmaps, positioning, pricing, margin considerations, launch planning, enhancement, and rationalization decisions.
- Establish and execute marketing strategies that strengthen Cortec’s brand, support market penetration, generate demand, and enable effective go-to-market execution.
- Ensure product and marketing strategies are grounded in customer insight, market data, competitive dynamics, financial performance, and Cortec’s growth objectives.
- Partner with Sales and Strategic Growth to provide clear product positioning, market insight, customer-facing tools, and commercialization support.
- Partner with Innovation, R&D, Regulatory, Operations, and Supply Chain to align product strategy with feasibility, compliance, manufacturability, capacity, and supply considerations.
- Use performance data and market feedback to identify opportunities, monitor product and marketing results, and drive continuous improvement.
- Represent Product Management and Marketing in cross-functional initiatives, strategic growth planning, and market expansion opportunities.
- Implement company values and communicate Cortec’s corporate vision to foster a strong, collaborative, and engaged team culture.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Engineering, or a related field required.
- 7 years of progressive manufacturing or industrial marketing experience.
- 3 years of experience leading marketing teams or functions.
- Ability and willingness to travel as required to support business initiatives and alignment.
- Primary work location: St. Paul MN Corporate Headquarters.
- Standard business hours with flexibility to support customer and department needs.
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed to support company objectives.
