Overview
CORT is seeking a detail‑oriented and analytical QA Engineer to support the delivery of high‑quality enterprise software solutions. This role partners closely with engineering and product stakeholders across CORT’s IT and Product Development teams to validate functionality, identify defects early, and ensure applications meet defined requirements and quality standards.
The QA Engineer plays a critical role in protecting business‑critical workflows and the end‑user experience by testing complex enterprise systems, supporting integrated applications, and continuously improving quality practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
This position is primarly performed from the convenience of your home office, but will require some onsite collaboration with teammmates on occasion in the Minneapolis area. Therefore, we are seeking candidates who are currently located in the Minneapolis, MN area.
Salary: $89,000-$98,000 / year depending on experience.

Responsibilities
- Partner closely with the PeopleSoft team to test, verify, and document software defects across PeopleSoft and integrated enterprise systems.
- Take ownership of designated areas of PeopleSoft and related application testing, including manual, regression, and integration testing.
- Identify candidates for regression test coverage and continuously improve test assets, coverage, and quality practices.
- Collaborate with the QA team to support, execute, and maintain Copado automated test scripts and automated regression suites.
- Maintain automated regression tests for PeopleSoft and other supported applications and integrations to ensure system stability across releases.
- Participate in product scrums to provide quality and testing feedback throughout the Agile development lifecycle.
- Conduct mobile testing for supported applications as required.
- Meet regularly with management to review daily activities, progress, priorities, and testing focus areas.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, software testing, or a closely related technical role
- Proven experience testing enterprise or large‑scale web applications
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience working in Jira or similar issue tracking tools
- Experience with regression testing and validating complex, integrated workflows
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to think critically and anticipate edge cases
- Ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering and product teams
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience testing enterprise systems such as PeopleSoft, ERP platforms, or financial systems
- Experience writing or maintaining automated test suites
- Experience with CI/CD environments
- Salesforce experience
- Experience with responsive and mobile application testing
- Familiarity with GitHub or version control systems
- Knowledge of Python and/or Java testing environments
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux system operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
