Position Overview
CorSource is seeking a results-oriented IT Project Manager to lead and deliver technical initiatives across enterprise systems, applications, and infrastructure within the energy and utility industry. Ideal candidates excel in driving technology projects in stakeholder-rich, compliance-driven environments and thrive in cross-functional team settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of IT and digital transformation projects, from initiation through deployment
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, risk assessments, scope documents, and change logs
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across IT, business units, and external partners
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives (Agile environments)
- Ensure alignment of technical deliverables with business goals and stakeholder expectations
- Track and report key metrics including timeline, scope, resource utilization, and cost
- Mitigate risks and resolve issues proactively through structured problem-solving
- Oversee vendor integrations, system testing, and deployment readiness
- Ensure data security, compliance, and adherence to IT governance and standards
- Contribute to process improvements and documentation of best practices
Preferred Skills & Experience
- 8 years of experience managing complex IT projects (infrastructure, software, cloud, cybersecurity, ERP, etc.)
- Experience in enterprise utility or energy environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall methodologies
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks, change control, and risk management protocols
- Proficiency in Jira, ServiceNow, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or other PM tools
- PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong interpersonal, stakeholder engagement, and executive presentation skills
- Experience working with technical teams and understanding of IT system lifecycles
Education & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Regional travel may be required depending on project assignment
