Position Overview
Corsetti Cruisers is seeking a highly skilled Paint & Body Technician to join our growing team in our Batavia/Cincinnati facility. This is not a collision-repair role. You will be working on classic Toyota Land Cruisers, custom sheet metal, and full ground-up restorations—helping bring award-quality builds to life.
We operate in a high-standard, detail-driven environment focused on precision, longevity, and craftsmanship. Your work is a major part of the final product the customer sees—so excellence is a must.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced blocking of body filler, sanding, surfacing, and primer application.
- Complete light body repairs on OEM and aftermarket panels.
- Remove, install, align, and gap doors, hoods, tailgates, quarter panels, etc.
- Strip, straighten, and prep body panels to tight tolerances.
- Apply short and long blocking techniques with consistent accuracy.
- Tape, mask, and protect vehicles prior to paint.
- Follow material-use standards to minimize waste and maintain quality.
- Assist the team with prep work, sanding, panel alignment, and booth readiness.
- Clean, prep, and evaluate vehicles before entering the paint booth.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Document work with photos for internal records and customer updates.
- Arrive on time, present professionally, and uphold shop safety requirements.
- Complete daily work logs and sign-off sheets.
Required Skills & Abilities
- Welding MIG and TIG a plus
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, high-standard restoration environment.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.
- Professional communication with team members, managers, and vendors.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative shop culture.
- Availability Monday–Friday, with occasional overtime as needed.
- Ability to pass a standard background checks
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in automotive paint, collision repair, or restoration strongly preferred.
- Experience in classic or specialty vehicle restoration is a major plus.
Physical Requirements
- Standing and walking for extended periods.
- Lifting 50–75 lbs regularly.
- Bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching at various heights.
- Maneuvering large panels, equipment, and vehicles safely.
- Precision handling of tools, sanders, spray equipment, and materials.
- Exposure to noise, dust, paints, solvents, and chemicals (PPE provided).
- Working in shop conditions that may vary in temperature.
- Ability to maintain physical stamina throughout the day.
