What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Generalist Germany position at CORSAIR?
Your Role
- Provide guidance on employee-related matters, i.e. employment legislation, performance management, and HR policies
- Build management capability in handling people topics effectively and independently
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers, coaching them through sensitive and complex people topics
- Manage and execute employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, employment changes, and offboarding
- Prepare employment contracts, amendments, and HR documentation in line with German labour law
- Ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with internal standards
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data in HR systems
- Liaise with payroll, benefits providers, and finance to ensure accurate and timely processing
Liaise with external providers including Occupational Health, benefits providers, and other HR service partners
Your Experience
3–5 years of HR experience in Germany, ideally in a generalist or operational HR role
Solid knowledge of German labour law and HR best practices
Experience in an international or matrix organisation is preferred
Strong communication skills in German and English
High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information
Strong interpersonal skills
Pragmatic, solution-oriented approach
Ability to balance operational execution with advisory responsibilities
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Collaborative team player with a service-oriented mindset
