Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Leasing Consultant. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for assisting prospective tenants with finding their ideal rental property and ensuring a smooth leasing process. Duties:
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants
- Respond to inquiries from potential tenants regarding rental properties
- Provide detailed information about the property, including amenities, lease terms, and rental rates
- Assist applicants with the application process, including collecting necessary documents and conducting background checks
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Coordinate move-in dates and conduct move-in inspections with new tenants
- Address tenant concerns and resolve any issues that may arise during the leasing process
- Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) software to track leads, follow up with prospects, and maintain tenant records
- Perform data entry tasks to update tenant information, lease agreements, and other relevant documentation
Experience:
- Previous experience in property leasing or customer service is preferred
- Familiarity with legal administrative processes related to leasing agreements is a plus
- Knowledge of facilities management practices is beneficial
- Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in data entry and record keeping
- Understanding of applicable laws and regulations related to property leasing, such as LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) guidelines
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships with tenants and address their needs effectively
