(CPI) is hiring a Cathodic Protection Specialist to support water and wastewater infrastructure projects in New England and across the U.S. with a focus on structural engineering support of reinforced concrete structures. This position combines structural engineering support, field inspections, and cathodic protection work.
This role is well-suited for a structural engineer or technically minded professional who enjoys both analysis and practical field assignments.
What Youβll Do
β 3 years of practical cathodic protection experience
β Strong interest in both engineering and fieldwork
β Detail-oriented with solid communication skills
β Physical ability to safely navigate uneven surfaces and stairs/ladders/scaffolding, work in confined spaces, work at heights of up to 50β, carry tools/equipment up to 50lbs, collect field samples using power tools (with reasonable accommodations)
β Preferred: 5-10 years of experience, AMPP/NACE certifications, background in reinforced concrete, coatings, welding, and/or water/wastewater

What Youβll Do
- Perform cathodic protection testing, troubleshooting, and design support
- Inspect reinforced concrete, steel structures, and coatings
- Document findings in clear technical reports
- Work directly with clients and manage multiple projects concurrently
- Travel up to ~25% (mostly short-term assignments)
