What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Painter Sandblaster position at Corrosion Control Resources?
Corrosion Control Resources is looking for one lead painter/sandblaster to join our 8 person strong team. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and reliable. Some weekend work is required. MUST HAVE A VALID TXDL
Responsibilities
· Cleaning of office, shop, jobsite, and equipment
· Using basic tools and equipment to clean and prepare surfaces for coating
· Carrying buckets, bags, boards, and other heavy items repeatedly
· Using brush and roller to paint as needed
· Using materials and equipment to setup clean working environments
· Following all CCR and customer site safety guidelines, reporting safety issues to a supervisor and avoiding unsafe work practices or using equipment without training
- VALID TXDL
Qualifications
- Spray experience
- Able to clean, maintain and repair spray equipment on site
- Sandblast Experience
- Able to clean, maintain and repair blast pot on site
- Able to communicate well with others
- NACE certification desired, but not required
- OSHA certification desired, but not required
- Salary depends on experience
