PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
- Performs routine and preventive maintenance including oil changes and tune ups, per manufacturer guidelines
- Mount, dismount, and repair semi tires
- Repairs or replaces malfunctioning parts and systems such as brakes, lights, belts, water pumps, tires, and other mechanical parts
- Oils and lubricates moving parts on equipment to ensure effective performance
- Cleans, organizes, inventories, stocks, and otherwise maintains shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies
- Maintain documentation of repairs in CMMS ( Computerized Maintenance Management System )
- Attend and participate in internal meetings and complete required training
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of automotive and maintenance experience
- Driver's license & clean driving record
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods on uneven surfaces
- Ability to lift, push, or pull a minimum of 50 pounds
- Frequently climb up and down ladders; crouch and bend at the knee; stoop or bend at the waist; reach arms overhead; and twist and turn at the neck and trunk
- Continually handle and grasp levers and dials; continuous leg and foot motion when using pedals
- Good hearing to detect equipment noises or alarms.
- Good vision (color vision) for reading gauges, schematics, and identifying materials or warning signs.
- Ability to work long shifts in physically demanding conditions, often outdoors in all weather (heat, cold, rain).
