The Role
The Business Development Executive will be the face of our client's premium products across the Midwest, responsible for identifying new business opportunities, following up on qualified leads, and turning conversations into sales.
This is a proactive inside sales role — ideal for someone who enjoys the full sales cycle, from prospecting through to closing.
The Business Development Executive will:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth in your region
- Engage directly with distributors, contractors, architects and others within the construction and supporting industries
- Generate and follow up on leads from marketing campaigns and industry events
- Deliver presentations, including AIA-accredited sessions for architects
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and samples to support your customers
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction
What does the Account Executive need?
We’re looking for a motivated, organized salesperson who’s confident managing the full sales cycle and comfortable engaging at all levels — from distributors to design professionals.
You’ll bring:
- Demonstrable experience in B2B sales (construction, building products, or related industries preferred)
- A proven record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- A proactive, “hunter” mindset with the ability to generate your own leads
- The confidence to work independently while collaborating effectively with a wider team
