Role Description The Insurance Producer is a full-time, on-site role based in Williamston, NC. This role is responsible for building and maintaining a book of business by prospecting new clients, responding to inquiries, and nurturing long-term relationships with individuals and organizations. Day-to-day work includes assessing clients’ risk profiles, recommending appropriate insurance products and coverage limits, preparing quotes, and presenting tailored insurance solutions. The Insurance Producer will manage renewals, handle policy changes, and support clients through the claims process, coordinating with carriers and internal teams as needed. The role also involves staying current on industry trends, carrier offerings, and regulatory requirements, while consistently meeting sales and service goals.
Qualifications
- Possess strong sales and client relationship skills, including prospecting, networking, and consultative selling to diverse individuals and businesses.
- Demonstrate insurance and risk management knowledge, including the ability to analyze coverage needs, interpret policy language, and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Exhibit effective communication and interpersonal skills for explaining complex insurance concepts clearly, conducting presentations, and collaborating with team members and carrier representatives.
- Show organizational and administrative abilities, including accurate documentation, policy management, follow-up on renewals, and attention to detail in all client interactions.
- Apply problem-solving and analytical skills to address client concerns, assist with claims, and adapt solutions to changing risk profiles and market conditions.
- Hold or be able to obtain the appropriate Property & Casualty insurance license as required by the State of North Carolina.
