Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food production and safety. If you have a passion for delivering exceptional service while ensuring client satisfaction, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare meals in a local jail kitchen in compliance with health and safety standards and dietary needs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food service area
- Train and oversee trustees assigned to kitchen
- Able to lift up to 15 pounds properly
- Maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, county officers, and trustees
- Support shift management activities to ensure smooth operations
Experience:
- Proven experience in food production
- Understanding of food safety guidelines and procedures
- Ability to supervise effectively
- Prior experience in cafeteria cooking or inmate food service is beneficial
- Must pass background check and drug screen
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
