Assistant Project Manager Custom Home Builder

We are a growing, high-end custom home builder in the West Los Angeles area looking for an Assistant Project Manager for multiple high end residential projects. The right candidate will have experience in residential construction systems.  You will be responsible for fulfilling administrative duties of projects including providing project management assistance, preparing bid cost comparisons, area take offs and buyout packages, PO entry and creation of O&M manuals, among other assistant project management duties. 

 Other responsibilities the Assistant Project Manager role includes:
- Document management and shop drawing/buyout review
- Soliciting bids from subcontractors
- Creating cost comparisons of subcontractor bids on specific trade items
- Creating area take offs and buyout packages
- Verification of daily log of work performed and by whom
- Weekly project updates for multiple projects
- Scheduling site deliveries, site meetings, and various appointments for Project Manager
- Punchlist documentation, Commissioning Checklists, and other project close out duties
- Maintaining minutes of client/architect subcontractor meetings
- Supplement Project Managers and Supervisors as needed

- Ability to multitask and complete work efficiently
 - A working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Procore & Bluebeam knowledge a plus
 - Great communication is a MUST 

- Understanding of Spanish is preferred

 - Honest
 - 3rd level education in engineering or construction management is a significant plus
 - A Valid Driver's license is necessary
