Position Summary
Clean Tech II is responsible for supporting the work of site employees in maintaining the cleanliness and standards of the facility. This role includes assessing completed work for quality, through clear communication. Clean Tech II acts as a resource for employee guidance, while escalating concerns as necessary. The position also involves promoting the company's mission, vision, and values to ensure a high standard of service and team engagement.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist site employees by serving as a helpful resource for their daily tasks and work activities.
- Effectively communicate job-site objectives to team members using appropriate tools and software.
- Advise team members on best practices for cleaning, safety, and compliance standards.
- Promote and uphold compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines including OSHA, CDC, and sanitation protocols. Ensure all practices align with quality control and health and safety requirements.
- Escalate any employee-related issues to HR or the appropriate chain of command.
- Promote best practices aligned with the company’s mission, vision, values, and customer service standards, ensuring team engagement in maintaining cleanliness.
- Assist with onboarding and training of new hires; provide guidance and support to ensure successful integration into their roles. Offer continued support and knowledge sharing to existing team members.
- Promptly report all work-related injuries in accordance with company procedures. Identify and communicate facility maintenance needs, supply shortages, and opportunities for operational improvement.
- Act as a designated point of contact or peer mentor for new and current employees, fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
Experience:
- 2-3 years in supporting teams in a facility’s, custodial, or janitorial environment.
- Proven ability to communicate job-site objectives and provide clear instructions to team members.
- Skilled in inspecting completed work to ensure adherence to quality and compliance standards.
