Position Title: HR Assistant
Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 Annually

Our organization is looking for an HR Assistant to support our growing team and keep our HR processes running smoothly. In this role, you will assist with onboarding, employee recordkeeping, and benefits/payroll administration to help our employees thrive.
Responsibilities:
- Support new hire onboarding by preparing paperwork, coordinating orientations, and helping new employees get set up with software tools and company accounts.
- Maintain employee files and records, ensuring information is accurate and up to date in HR system.
- Help internal employees with basic benefits questions, enrollments, or changes, directing more complex issues to HR management.
- Assist with payroll by collecting timesheets and verifying attendance for submission to payroll vendors.
- Prepare HR reports such as headcount, attendance, and turnover rates to support HR team in making better-informed decisions.
- Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and company events to support a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, not required.
- 6 months or more of experience in office administration role (including related internships).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage files, schedules, and documentation accurately.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with fellow employees and upper management.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred, experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
