About the Role:
The Logistics Coordinator role is an excellent entry-level opportunity for candidates looking to gain hands-on experience in logistics, supply chain operations, and transportation data management.
This role focuses on the behind-the-scenes operational work that ensures shipments move smoothly and accurately from origin to destination. You will work extensively with shipping data, internal databases, and operational systems to validate information, support transportation teams, and maintain data integrity across the supply chain.
This position is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, analytical, and interested in building a long-term career in logistics or operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter, review, and validate shipment data within internal logistics and transportation management systems
- Ensure accuracy of shipping details including routes, dates, carrier information, and documentation
- Support daily transportation operations by maintaining clean, reliable data for smooth freight movement
- Identify discrepancies or missing information and work with internal teams to resolve issues
- Assist with reporting, tracking, and operational updates related to shipments
- Maintain organized digital records and ensure compliance with internal procedures
- Collaborate with operations, customer service, and carrier support teams as needed
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree - Required
- Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
- Previous experience with administrative work, data, or prior experience within logistics - Preferred
- Detail oriented, organized, and ability to prioritize
- Experience in Microsoft Office applications (specifically Excel)
