Our company is immediately seeking a positive, fast-paced Customer Specialist for our office on in St. Charles, IL.

The Customer Specialist will be responsible for entering a high volume of purchase orders, maintaining customer relationships, and having a great understanding of our product lines in order to answer customer questions and resolve issues.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and respond to emails and phone calls from customers and sales representatives regarding order entry, order status requests, product inquiries, etc.
• Expedite orders upon customer and sales representative requests
• Provide information regarding timely quotations, inventory availability, and products
• Develop in-depth knowledge of our product lines to better aid with customer’s selection
• Effectively route technical support inquiries to the appropriate individual or department
• Participate in goal projects while maintaining daily workload
• Responsible for being the point of contact regarding pre-deliveries, deliveries in process, and post-deliveries

Requirements:

• 3-5 years customer service experience ideally from a manufacturer
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook
• High degree of attention to detail
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks, activities, and projects for timely completion
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor’s degree is a plus
